Updates to the calendar of events for the upcoming 2024/25 season
After an IIBA meeting last night the following changes made for the calendar of events for the upcoming season.
- The world championship qualifier will no longer take place, with the Champion of Champions tournament now the only competition from which players will qualify for the World Championships.
- The Champion of Champions competition has been moved to the 2nd of November, and the Club Championships will take place on the 11th of January. Both will be in Belfast Indoor Bowls Club. The deadline to enter these events still remains the same.
- From this season on, winners of each zone’s national qualifiers for the open, mixed, ladies, over 55’s and juniors will also be invited for the 2025 Champion of Champions tournament.
