- It is up to both clubs to role out their own 3 mats and role them up and put away all equipment.
- 3 mats is all that is needed as the pairs and singles will go on the same mat.
- It is €3 per person each night and it is up to each captain to collect it and to give to Gerry O’Hare.
- On the night of play there will be 3 tickets 1 2 and 3 and the captains will do the draw and the draw for the mats as usual.
1 is on mat 1-3
2 is on mat 3-6
3 is on mat 7-9
- You must turn up even if you only have 6 players. Just concede the rinks then. A conceded mat is automatically a 10-0 scoreline.
- If you are short one player you have 2 options. Concede the singles losing 10-0
Or play the rinks with 3 and the the lead and 2nd throw 3 bowls each but their scoreline will lose a quarter of their shots.
- Singles and pairs is 12 ends, trips 10 ends, rinks 9 ends.
- There are 2points per mat and 2 for the overall score.
- This year we are using a handicap system. It is as follows:
Corduff 0
Killanny +1
South Armagh +1
Magheracloone +1
Redeemer +2
Kilkerley +3
You subtract the + shots to determine who and what is the handicap. For instance Magheracloone play Kilkerley in the first week. Kilkerley are +3 and Magheracloone are +1. Therefore Kilkerley will have a 2 shot lead ON EACH MAT before the game starts. See the bottom of the page for exact shot handicaps for each fixture:
- The team captains will toss a coin for who has the jack first.
- A game can only be postponed due to extreme unforeseen circumstances such as weather or death. Approval needs to be given though by the chairman Colm Minnock.
- If a team does not fulfill ALL their fixtures then they will not be allowed to enter the club championships the following year.
