Again another poor turnout by our ladies resulted in the Ladies pairs being completed. Hopefully next year things will improve.
1st Round
Rachel Brennan and Geraldine Boyle had an easy victory over Brid Duffy only dropping 4 shots. Gill Rouiller and Imelda Hanratty comfortably beat Bernie Keenan and Margo McEntee. The holders Vera Mohan and Caroline McSherry had a straightforward win over Bernie Cunningham.
Semi-Finals
Rachel and Geraldine received a bye directly into the final with both 1st Round opponents failing to turn up. Gill and Imelda an effortless victory over reigning champions Vera Mohan.
Final
The final was a one sided affair with Rachel and Geraldine unable to match the bowls Gill and Imelda were playing. The Killanny pair eventually winning with an end to spare.
